Prior her official porn scenes she was doing nude photo shoots as well as live web-cam shows on adult websites. Another way to support herself was working as a stripper. After a while Shyla moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her career in the porn industry.
She did her first hardcore movie when she was eighteen years old in 2000 (Erik Everhard formally introduced her to the business) for the famous company, Anabolic Video. Very quickly after her first scene she became a contract girl for Jill Kelly Productions and the company CEO Bob Friedland in (2002).
Officially, her career begun in 2000 and after five years of active filming she made a short break, only to return to filming in 2006. Her comeback was more than noticed, because she returned with brand new massive silicone breasts (36DD) which remained her trade mark throughout her career.
